"Superman" airlifted to hospital in CT

Cape Town paramedics came to the rescue of "superman" who had to be airlifted off Table Mountain on Saturday.

ER24 said the man in his forties was taking part in a fun run that started in the City and went up the mountain when he ran into trouble.

Spokesperson, Pieter Rousouw,  said the man started suffering from extreme exhaustion and his wife called ER24 for help.

He said the man, dressed in red and blue just like the superhero was located and airlifted to hospital for further treatment.
