The NPA says it has not yet seen the video of murder-accused Oscar Pistorius on his stumps re-enacting the scene of the killing of Reeva Steenkamp.
NPA spokesperson Nathi Mncube says the prosecution team for the case, led by Gerrie Nel, has not seen the video, broadcast only in Australia.
Pistorius' lawyers issued a statement on Sunday night describing the broadcast as a "staggering breach of trust" and an invasion of the family's privacy.
Defence attorney, Brian Webber, says the video was intended for trial purposes and its broadcast had breached the non-disclosure agreement with 'The Evidence Room', a US company which specialises in forensic animation.
Law experts says judge Thokozile Masipa could now theoretically put a stop to proceedings when court resumes this morning.
