NCape cop arrested for stock theft

A Northern Cape police constable will appear in court this week on a charge of stock theft.

Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, says Constable Lourens Klip was arrested with three other men last Tuesday.

They were found to be in possession of six sheep when they were arrested by police who were following up on a tip-off.

Naidu says the four have already made a court appearance and were remanded in custody to Wednesday.
