A North West woman accused of killing her family members for insurance money has been accused of killing another child for a multi-million rand payout.
The National Prosecuting Authority said Agnes Setshwantsho, appeared in the Kuruman district court on Thursday where she is facing charges of murder and fraud.
NPA spokesperson, Mojalefa Senokoatsane, said the latest charges relate to the death of her child in Kuruman Hospital in the Northern Cape under "suspicious circumstances".
Setshwantsho is also charged in North West province for killing close family members, including her husband and children, for insurance money.
She was denied bail in those matters on 19 January in a court in North West Province,
Setshwantsho's crime spree reportedly began in 2005 until March last year before her subsequent arrest in November 2023 following an investigation led by police and included insurance companies.
She remains in custody and will be back in court on 12 March.
