Two suspects are expected to appear in court soon in connection with the murder of a Youth Academy teacher from Eshowe in Kwazulu Natal.
The 60-year-old Vusumuzi Mlaba was last seen on the 25th of July and only five days later a missing person report was opened.
Spokesperson Colonel Thembeka Mbele says their investigation led them to Ntumeni where a decomposed body was found hidden under tree branches.
She says police then proceeded to an area in Empangeni where the suspects were arrested.
The men, aged 18 and 21 were in possession of the Mlaba's phone and other personal belongings.
