Police in Gauteng have arrested a couple in Orange Farm after the body of a five-year-old was found inside their tavern.
Spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubele says the child's grandmother reported the boy missing on Tuesday afternoon.
He says late on Wednesday evening police received information about a child's body that was found inside a tavern.
Makhubele says the little boy was naked, in an upright position, next to a fridge.
The child had a string tied around his neck and his ankles were tied with a handkerchief
The owners of the tavern were arrested and charged with murder.
The couple, aged 29 and 30 will appear in the local magistrates' court soon.
