Ministers in the Justice, Crime Prevention and Security Cluster will release a task team report on the security upgrades at President Jacob Zuma's private residence in Nkandla on Thursday.
This after cabinet ordered its released.
The decision came in the wake of a war of words between the ANC and the Public Protector, Thuli Madonsela, whose leaked report on Nkandla found that president Jacob Zuma had benefitted from non-security upgrades to his homestead.
The report also suggested that the president may have misled parliament when he said that his family had paid for the Nkandla project.
Madonsela has condemned the leaking of the report.
Meanwhile, Numsa secretary-general, Irvin Jim, said if the leaked public protector on Nkandla is true, then there has to be accountability for this.
Speaking at the union's special general congress on Wednesday, Jim said there's no justification for spending 200-million rand on the house of the president.
He said if Madonsela's report is true, Numsa will demand accountability from the Department of Public Works and the president himself.
