The Minister of Agriculture, Land Reform and Rural Development, Thoko Didiza says she has learnt with shock of the brutal killing of yet another young farmer in the Free State.
The department says it is alleged that 37-year old Tebogo Machakela was shot in the head by a group of assailants on his farm near Odendaalsrus.
He succumbed to his injuries earlier this week following the attack in August.
His death follows that of young farm manager, Brendin Horner of Paul Roux at the beginning of October.
Didiza says Machakela's death is not only a great loss to his family and friends but to the agricultural sector as a whole.
The Minister has called upon the police to leave no stone unturned to bring the suspects to book.
