Rumours of a possible military coup in Lesotho are doing the rounds on social media.
A resident, Peter Sturrock told Algoa fm news that all radio stations in Lesotho have been taken off the air and the military took over the police station in Maseru
Spokesperson for the Department of International relations Clayson Monyela says they are aware of a possible situation in Lesotho but do not have any details as to what exactly is going on.
He says once the South African Government has information they will issue a statement.
