The price of all grades of petrol will drop by 67 cents a litre next week.
The Department of Energy says the price of diesel will decrease by 25.38 cents a litre, and that of illuminating paraffin by 25 cents a litre.
The price of LP Gas will fall by R1.08 a kilogram.
Department spokesperson, Raphi Maake, says the new prices will come into effect on Wednesday.
He says the Energy Minister Tina Joemat-Pettersson had approved a retail margin increase of 4.2 cents per litre from Wednesday.
This increase is to accommodate the nine percent salary increase for fuel pump attendants and cashiers.
