The Department of Energy has announced a massive hike in the price of fuel.
From next Wednesday motorists will pay 81 cents a litre more for all grades of petrol.
Diesel goes up by just over 58 cents a litre while paraffin at wholesale price goes up by 67 cents a litre.
The single maximum retail price of paraffin will increase by 76 cents a litre while LGP gas goes up by R1.18 p/kg.

"The main reasons for the increase is the weakening of the Rand against the Dollar during the period of review as well s the high crude oil prices, if you can recall at one point oil was 118 dollars per barrel" he said.
