Limpopo police have launched a manhunt for a group of men who abducted and raped a 28-year-old high school teacher at Marken on the outskirts of Lephalale.
Spokesperson, Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe, said the gang broke into the woman's rented house on Friday while she was sleeping.
They tied her up, bundled her into the boot of her car and drove away.
Police were notified and she was later found dumped in the bush alongside the road outside Mokopane.
She had been admitted to hospital for medical treatment.
Ngoepe said preliminary investigations revealed that two of the suspects were former learners who live in the same village as the teacher.
Police are investigating cases of house-breaking, kidnapping and rape.
