A 29 year old man who was hiding from someone he had an altercation with on Friday afternoon, managed to get himself stuck in sand under the public ablution facility in Bloubergstrand.
Spokesperson for ER24 Vanessa Jackson says the man saw a small hole under the building in which he tried to hide and subsequently got stuck.
Two people who were walking home in the early hours of Saturday morning heard him calling for help and alerted the authorities.
Jackson says he was treated for Hypothermia symptoms and transported to hospital in a stable condition.
