Man killed in Wonderboom plane crash

One person was killed in a light aircraft crash at Wonderboom Airport north of in Pretoria on Tuesday Morning.

Police spokesperson, Mirna von Benecke says the aircraft crashed during take-off.

She says the victim was alone in the plane, and no other injuries were reported, as there was no-one on the ground in the airport's perimeter.

No further details are available.
