Man killed in light plane crash

A 55-year-old man died when a small plane crashed on a farm outside Komani, formerly Queenstown on Sunday.

Police spokesperson, Captain NamhlaMdleleni, said another person was critically injured and rushed to a hospital in East London.

The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the crash and the fatality.

CAA spokesperson, Kabelo Ledwaba, said investigators would be making their way to the Eastern Cape to begin the probe into the cause of the accident.
