Police in Lephalale in Limpopo worked around the clock this weekend to arrest the suspects who kidnapped and gang-raped a teacher.
The suspects, two of whom were her former pupils, broke into her house on Friday morning, bound her with ropes and loaded her inside the boot of her car.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe says the men then took turns raping her before dumping her on the side of the road.
He says the two suspects, aged 18 and 20 were arrested in different parts of Lephalale and one was in possession of the victim's car keys.
Police had opened cases of housebreaking with intent to commit crime, kidnapping, armed robbery, and rape. The suspects would appear in the local magistrate's court soon, and investigations were continuing.
