A man was killed, and two were injured, in a head-on-collision on a sharp bend on a road in the Karoo on Friday.
ER24's Vanessa Jackson says a 50-year-old man in a Toyota Hilux died and another man in the vehicle was seriously injured, when it collided with a Toyota Land Cruiser.
She says the injured man was taken to hospital in Kathu, before being transferred to Kimberley.
Jackson says the 30-year-old driver of the Land Cruiser was also injured and was thought to have been freed by a local farmer, who took him to hospital in his bakkie.
The cause of the accident is not known.
