A Zimbabwean man appeared in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Friday in connection with the murder of former Lions rugby player, Johan Kemp.
Gauteng police spokesperson, Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini says Chastauka Namayaro will be back in court on April 12 and he remains in custody.
He was allegedly part of a three-man gang who attacked the Kemp residence in Johannesburg last week.
Kemp was shot three times in the upper body.
Dlamini says it is not clear how the burglars entered the house as there was no sign of forced entry.
The attackers fled in the family's car with jewellery, two cellphones, and a laptop computer.
