Man arrested for raping a deaf youth

An elderly Limpopo man accused of raping a deaf youth, has appeared in the Mankweng Magistrate's Court.

Police say the 69-year-old man will be back in court on the 21st of January for a bail application.

He remains in custody.

He was arrested on Wednesday for the crime that was committed on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old teenager was attacked at her home and a relative caught the suspect in the act.
