Man arrested for driving 245km/h

A 37-year-old man has been arrested for driving at 245 km/h on the N1 near Nasrec, south of Johannesburg.

Metro police say the man from Alberton riding a green Kawasaki motorcycle.

He was arrested for reckless and negligent driving and will face an additional charge for not displaying the number plate on his motorcycle when he appears in the Roodepoort Magistrate's court on Monday.
