A 21-year-old man has been arrested in Limpopo for trying to bribe a prosecutor to drop an attempted murder case he is facing.
The Hawks say he tried to give the prosecutor R1,000 to drop the case.
The suspect, Thabo Takalo, was arrested in August last year and had been out on bail.
He was arrested for the alleged bribery and appeared in the Thabamoopo Magistrate's Court, about 50 kilometers south of Polokwane on Friday.
He remains in custody until his next appearance on Friday.
