A Khayelitsha man was arrested, after 200kg of dagga was found in his possession at a road block in Beaufort West on Saturday.
Western Cape police Captain, Malcolm Pojie says the man's vehicle was stopped at a check point on the Beaufort West - Aberdeen road, and 15 bags of dagga were discovered.
He says the value of the dagga is estimated at R200,000.
Pojie says the dagga was destined for distribution in the Western Cape, as the taxi was en route from the Eastern Cape to Cape Town.
