Malema off the hook for speeding

Economic Freedom Fighter leader Julius Malema has been found not guilty on a charge of reckless or negligent driving.

The Vanderbijlpark Magistrate's Court ruled on Friday that the State could not prove the apparatus used to record Malema's speed was in good working condition.

Malema had been arrested in December for allegedly driving at 215km/h in a 120km/h zone.
