Malema and Hofmeyr bust for speeding

Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema and popular Afrikaans singer, Steve Hofmeyr, have both been arrested for speeding.

Maleman, who was clocked at 215km/h on a Gauteng freeway, will appear in court on Friday.

Meanwhile, Hofmyer was granted bail of R500 after being arrested in Bronkhorstspruit on Thursday night and will appear in court on Monday.

He was clocked at 169km/h an hour in an 80km/h zone.
