Load shedding to be suspended at noon on Saturday

Loadshedding will be suspended at 12 pm on Saturday as generation capacity sufficiently recovered.

Eskom says emergency reserves have also been adequately replenished and are available to support the system next week.

It says the onset of winter has seen increased demand and this will lead to a constrained system throughout the winter.

Eskom urges all South Africans to continue using electricity sparingly.
