Limpopo police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal accident in which a one-month-old baby and a five-month-old child were killed.
A spokesperson said that the accident occurred on Tuesday on a gravel road in a village outside Giyani when a bakkie driven by a learner driver overturned.
Police said the vehicle was carrying 12 passengers and filled with groceries.
The injured passengers, including the driver, were taken to a hospital for medical attention.
The names of the deceased children have not been released.
