Lightning kills cattle in Mpumalanga

 Lightning has killed 29 head of cattle on a farm in Mpumalanga.

According to a report today the carcasses were found grouped around two trees on top of a mountain.

The incident happened last week, just a day after nine first team cricket players from a Johannesburg school were struck by lightning.

Last Monday, four 16-year-old girls were also hit by lighting in Soweto while walking home from school.

One of the girls died.
