Lesufi returns to Education portfolio following public outcry

The Gauteng Premier David Makhura has decided to let MEC Panyaza Lesufi return to his Education portfolio.

Earlier this week Lesufi was moved to a new Portfolio as the new MEC for Finance.

The fact that Lesufi was moved from his portfolio as MEC for Education in Gauteng caused a storm on social media with many questioning Makhura's decision.

The Premier took to his own twitter account to announce that would give serious consideration to the request from the public.

Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko will now move from Education to head the Finance portfolio.
