KZN prison warden and wife found dead in home

The bodies of a Kwazulu Natal prison warden and his wife have been found after a shooting incident at their Pietermaritzburg home.

The Department of Correctional Services says the deceased woman worked as a clerk in their Maritzburg office.

Their bodies were found in their official residence on Monday.

Department spokesperson, Chrispin Phiri says, at this stage, it is believed a domestic dispute led to the shooting in which a private firearm was used.

The names of the victims have not yet been released.
