An outbreak of anthrax has killed 30 Roan antelope in the Kruger National Park.
Sanparks spokesperson, William Mabasa, says the carcasses were found at the weekend in an enclosure created for breeding.
He said the park was trying to contain the situation by burning the carcasses and vaccinating other animals.
The Roan antelope is a rare species and there were about 100 in the Kruger before the outbreak.
