Kidnapped Limpopo businessman reunited with family

The Hawks in Limpopo have arrested two suspects who allegedly kidnapped a businessman last month.

Spokesperson, Warrant Officer Lethunya Mmuroa says 65-year-old Solly Tayob, a Dealer Principal of Burgersfort was kidnapped on 2 June at his Hyundai Dealership by heavily armed suspects with military precision.

He says a multi-disciplinary team launched an intensive 27-day cyber forensic investigation and found Tayob, who was reunited with his family on Friday.

The two suspects appeared in the Practiseer Magistrate's Court this week and will appear again on Monday.

Police investigations are ongoing.
