Cape Town police have arrested 11 suspects for their alleged involvement in Saturday's deadly shootings in Khayelitsha which left 13 people dead and several injured.
Spokesperson Brigadier Novela Potelwa says a task team pounced on a Hotel at Sea Point at 3 am on Monday where they made the arrests.
She says at this point the suspects are only being questioned and have not yet been charged.
Nine people were shot and killed at different locations in Site B, Khayelitsha on Saturday, four succumbed to injuries sustained from the shooting incidents in the hospital and five were seriously wounded.
Once charged the suspects will face murder and attempted murder charges. As the investigations progress more charges could be added.
