The fast food outlet KFC has caused a stir on social media after announcing the temporary closure of some stores due to the ongoing loadshedding.
South Africans have so far this year been subjected to 154 days of loadshedding that has severely impacted the economy.
KFC took to Twitter yesterday to apologise for the inconvenience saying that some stores might also have limited availability on some of its favourite items.
According to KFC South Africa, less than 7% of their 1000+ store base has experienced intermittent closures.
These are primarily in North Gauteng (Pretoria) and KZN.
We are sorry, but due to the ongoing loadshedding, some of our restaurants will be temporarily closed, while others may have limited availability on some of your favourite menu items.
