Husband shot in house robbery

 A man from Muldersdrift on the West Rand has been shot dead during an attempted robbery at his home.

Police say the man walked into his house on Thursday, to find three men holding his wife at gunpoint.

There was a struggle for the gun and one of the robbers was shot with his own firearm.

Her husband was then shot twice in the chest, and he later died.

The woman was unharmed and the robbers fled.
