Sun International
Hotel magnate, Sol Kerzner has died at the age of 84.
Sun International says on its website that he passed away at his home in Leeukoppie Estate, Cape Town, surrounded by family on Saturday.
Kerzner's career in the hospitality industry started in 1962 when he left the accounting profession and bought a small inn in Durban.
He later founded the Southern Sun hotel group, Sun International and Kerzner international.
At the 2019 International Hotel Investment Forum in Berlin, Kerzner received a Lifetime Achievement Award for his contribution to the hotel and casino industry.
