Horror smash death toll rises

The number of people killed in a crash on the road between Kokstad and Umzimkulu has risen to 12, with the death of a teenager in hospital.
Ten adults and a five-year-old child died on Monday when a truck and a Toyota Venture collided on the R56 between Kokstad and Umzimkulu.
The KwaZulu-Natal health department says a 12-year-old girl was taken to a hospital in Pietermaritzburg, but died yesterday.
A 10-year-old boy is still in a critical condition in the same hospital.
