Fourteen people were killed in a horror, multi-vehicle accident in Limpopo on Friday morning.
The Road Traffic Management Corporation (RTMC) said the crash occurred at around 6.30 on the R-579 near Groblersdal.
RTMC spokesperson, Simon Zwane, said it involved two Toyota Quantum mini-buses and a cement truck which resulted in a high number of fatalities.
"Authorities were are still on the scene trying to determine the number of injuries," Zwane said.
He said the RTMC team would work with Limpopo SAPS to determine the exact cause of the accident which occurred near Motetema Village in Limpopo.
According to the public broadcaster, learners from Dynamic Primary School were among the crash victims.
