Two foreign nationals busted with fraudulent visas in Cape Town are expected to appear in the Kleinvlei Magistrates Court on Monday.
An Indian and Bangladeshi national were arrested at the Eersterivier Shopping Complex last week.
A spokesperson for the Department of Home Affairs Thabo Mokgola says they conducted an operation in conjunction with the Counter Corruption Branch which is working tirelessly to crack the networks behind the issuance of fraudulent visas.
He says on Thursday last week another routine operation was conducted at the Cape Town International Airport where 11 Bangladeshi and three Pakistani nationals were intercepted.
Mokgale says after interviewing the 14 people, eight were found with fraudulent visas and denied entry into the country.
The Minister of Home Affairs, Dr Aaron Motsoaledi welcomed the arrests and ongoing operations.
