The minor convicted of the murders of Deon, Christel and Marthella Steenkamp spent his first night behind bars after being denied bail on Thursday.
The seventeen-year-old boy found guilty of murdering the Steenkamps on their farm Naauwhoek near Griekwastad on 6 April 2012 will remain in custody at Kimberley prison until sentencing.
He was also convicted of raping 14-year-old Marthella, as well as defeating the ends of justice.
