The head of the government's pension fund has quit amid an investigation into alleged impropriety at the Public Investment Corporation.
Now, the DA wants the full facts surrounding the sudden resignation of Dan Matjila, who quit on Friday, to be made public with immediate effect.
His resignation comes after President Cyril Ramaphosa last month ordered that a full investigation into the PIC be completed in six months.
DA MP, David Maynier, said Matjila's resignation could not be the end of the matter.
He said he should not be allowed to escape accountability for his actions at the Public Investment Corporation which manages R2 trillion rand in government pension and other funds.
