The South African police are investigating an accident in the Kruger National Park on Sunday in which a giraffe was killed and two people seriously injured.
Authorities were called out to the south of Mopani on Sunday afternoon following reports of a taxi accident in the park.
A vehicle with 13 day visitors was traveling to Letaba when a taxi drove into them.
It is alleged that the taxi could not avoid hitting the rented safari vehicle and a giraffe that stepped into the road got hit and killed in the process.
SANParks warned visitors to observe the speed limits inside the park and be careful on the roads.
