Fuel price drop awaits motorists

 The retail price of fuel will decrease at the beginning of January.

The department of energy says 95 octane petrol will cost 15 cents less, 93 octane will drop by 13 cents a litre, and diesel between 27 and 28 cents.

The price of illuminating paraffin will decrease by 17 cents a litre and LP gas by nine cents per kilogram.

The price changes will be effective from the 2nd of January.
