Four men have been killed during an armed robbery at a shopping mall in Edenvale, east of Johannesburg.
ER 24's Russel Meiring says paramedics found four men, believed to be suspects, lying outside a bullet-riddled vehicle on Thursday morning.
He says they had succumbed to numerous gunshot wounds, while one suspect was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
It's understood that a gang of six men was confronted by police as they exited a retail store in the Stoneridge Shopping Centre which they had robbed moments earlier of clothing and cellphones.
In the ensuing shoot-out, four suspects were killed, one was injured and a sixth was arrested.
