Two foreign nationals will appear in the Upington magistrates court on Wednesday on a charge of dealing in drugs.
The Suspects aged 35 and 36 were arrested at a hiking spot along the N14 on Sunday.
Police Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Dimakatso Mooi said police were on routine patrol when they noticed two men who appeared restless when they spotted the authorities.
One of the men through a bag he was carrying on the ground and started running.
Mooi said police members split up giving chase and arrested the two foreign nationals.
Police inspected the bags and found it full of potatoes stuffed full of mandrax tablets.
The street value of the mandrax is R25 000.
