Heavy rainfall hit several parts of the country on this weekend, the SA Weather Service reported.

Forecaster Edwin Thema said Midrand, Edenvale and Germiston in Gauteng experienced rain accompanied by large hail on Saturday.

Below is footage we have found of the hail storm that hit Joburg over the weekend.
