Five people were killed when a helicopter crashed in the Kruger National Park on Saturday evening.
The SA National Defence Force says the helicopter was on a scheduled aerial patrol of the Kruger National Park as part of Operation RHINO.
Spokesperson, Brigadier General Xolani Mabanga says a South African Air Force Agusta A109 light utility helicopter crashed at around 7 o'clock, killing five members on board.
He says an investigation is currently underway to establish the sequence of events that led to the crash.
