The Food and Allied Workers Union says Western Cape farmers should allow their workers to return without facing disciplinary action after their strike was called off.
FAWU general secretary Katishi Masemola made the call in a statement released on Sunday.
Masemola said Fawu leaders had held meetings with workers in Ceres and De Doorns over the weekend.
He said the union had rejected calls for the strike to continue and said it expected farm workers to return to work on Monday.
Farm workers went on strike last year, demanding that the minimum daily wage be increased from R69 to R150 and that a cohesive land reform programme be implemented.
