Reports have suggested that ANC Youth League president Julius Malema will finally be expelled from the ruling party on Tuesday.
However, no officials of the national disciplinary committee of appeals or the youth league are available to comment on the issue.
The public broadcaster as well as the New Age newspaper quote reliable sources in their reports.
They say the ANC's national disciplinary committee of appeals is set to confirm Malema's explusion.
Malema was expelled from the ANC in November 2011 for sowing division in the party and for bringing it into disrepute.
Despite the expulsion, Malema remains league president until all options to overturn his sentence have been exhausted.
