Eskom suspends weekend load shedding

Eskom says it suspended load shedding at 8 am on Sunday after generation capacity recovered overnight.

The embattled power utility says four units at Medupi power station were returned to service since Friday evening, as coal supply improved.

Eskom says two more units returned to service during the same period, while emergency generation reserves have sufficiently recovered.
