Eighteen feared dead after Free State accident

 Eighteen people were feared dead after a bus and a car were involved in a collision in the northern Free State on Monday.

The accident happened during a rain storm between Frankfort and Tweeling.

It was also reported that a taxi driver died after his vehicle fell into the swollen Vaal River, near Potchefstroom.

He had been driving solo from Ficksburg to Rustenburg. (Sapa)
